Simplifying ‘Munjya: Tainu Khabar Nahi’ – From Song to Chord Progressions -A Guitarist’s Guide.

Standard

Munjya is a compelling Hindi drama about love, loss, and redemption, with a soulful soundtrack that enhances its emotional depth. The standout song, “Tainu Khabar Nahi,” beautifully captures unspoken love and longing through its haunting melody and heartfelt lyrics. The delicate vocals and evocative music make it a memorable highlight of the film’s emotional journey.

If you hear and try to match the guitar chord progression it will come to A – D – F#m – Bm. A fairly standard progression often used in pop, rock, and folk music. It can be interpreted as a I-IV-vi-ii progression in the key of A major.

Chord Breakdown:

  • A major (I): Root chord (A, C#, E)
  • D major (IV): Subdominant chord (D, F#, A)
  • F# minor (vi): Minor chord based on the sixth scale degree (F#, A, C#)
  • B minor (ii): Minor chord based on the second scale degree (B, D, F#)

Now to polish and give it the same feel as in the original song we will transpose the chords. This will make it easy to play and sing along.

With this in mind, you can play the progression as:
